Chancellor's International Scholarship (£500 up to £4000)

What is it? Available for applicants classified as international for fee purposes who have applied and been offered a place to study at the University on the UK campus in September 2024 for the first time.

Who is it for? Only available for UG or PG taught applicants - not for preparatory programmes or research.

How much is it worth? Amounts are variable from £500 up to £4000.

How do I apply? Automatically assessed during the admissions process. You do not need to apply for this.

Applicants can qualify for the Full Payment Discount alongside the Chancellor’s International Scholarship if they pay their fees in full by 7 October 2024 for Semester A entry.

UG Tri Annual Scholarship (£2,000)

What is it? This scholarship is a tuition fee deduction each year and available for each new year of study should the applicant successfully progress (but not for retakes and applicants re-joining after leaving the University part way through their studies).

Who is it for? Available for all UG applicants classified as international for fee purposes joining the University on the UK campus in September 2024 for the first time from all countries.

How much is it worth? Tuition fees will be discounted by £2,000 for each year of study (up to a total of £6,000 over the duration of a 3-year taught course or £8,000 for a 4-year taught course).

How do I apply? No application is required, the discount will be automatically awarded if applicants are eligible, and their tuition fee will be reduced accordingly.

Super Early Bird and Early Bird Payment Discount (£2000 or £1000)

What is it? This discount is a one-off discount from tuition fees for the first-time applicants joining the University and not available for subsequent years of study.

Who is it for? Available for all taught postgraduate (PG) taught applicants classified as international for fee purposes joining the University campus in the UK in September 2024 for the first time from all markets.

How much is it worth?

- To qualify for the £2,000 Super Early Bird Discount, applicants must have paid their full tuition fee deposit of £5,000, to be received by the University by 30th April 2024.

- To qualify for the £1,000 Early Bird Discount, applicants must have paid their full tuition fee deposit of £5,000, to be received by the University by 30th June 2024.

How do I apply? No application is required, the discount will be automatically awarded if applicants are eligible, and their tuition fee will be reduced accordingly.

University of Hertfordshire Graduate Scholarship (20%)

What is it? It's awarded to University of Hertfordshire undergraduate students who return to study for any postgraduate taught course and research degree at the University of Hertfordshire campus in the UK.

Who is it for? The Graduate Scholarship is available to students who have: graduated from a University of Hertfordshire undergraduate degree (either studied in the UK or at a partner institution overseas) and are starting a new postgraduate taught course at the University. Or graduated from a University of Hertfordshire undergraduate or postgraduate degree (either studied in the UK or at a partner institution overseas) and are starting a new research degree (PhD) course at the University. Or completed the Study Abroad programme with us from a different institution.

How much is it worth? The value of the Graduate Scholarship will be a fee deduction equivalent to 20% of the tuition fee due for the first year of full-time postgraduate study and (for UK/EU students only) 20% of the fee due for all years of part-time postgraduate or doctoral study.

How do I apply? No application is required, the scholarship will be automatically awarded if applicants are eligible, and their tuition fee will be reduced accordingly.

International Partner Discount (£2000)

What is it? Available for applicants classified as international for fee purposes who have applied and been offered a place to study at the University on the UK campus in September 2024 for the first time and are joining us from our overseas partners where they have been studying on a UH degree programme or at one of the partners listed below.

Who is it for? Only available for UG level study.

How much is it worth? £2000

How do I apply? No application is required, the discount will be automatically awarded if applicants are eligible, and their tuition fee will be reduced accordingly.

Student Success Scholarship (£2000)

What is it? This scholarship is a one-off payment for first-time applicants joining the University and not available for subsequent years of study. It is available for all applicants who have experienced economic challenges within their home country, this includes; currency devaluation, significant inflation of everyday goods, energy crisis or any kind of recession. This Scholarships is also available to any students who require assistance with the cost-of-living crisis in the UK.

Who is it for? Available for all taught postgraduate applicants classified as international for fee purposes joining the University campus in the UK in September 2024 for the first time from all markets.

How much is it worth? £2000

How do I apply? To qualify for the £2,000 Student Success Scholarship, applicants must have paid their full tuition fee deposit of £5,000 and it needs to be received by the University by 17 May 2024.

this course includes many of the modules featured on our general aerospace engineering course, as well as special modules on the design of space vehicles, rocket propulsion, space flight control and satellite communication systems. However, in your MEng year you’ll deepen your skills and knowledge, taking extra modules in aerospace embedded systems, computational fluid dynamics and human resource management. As with the BEng, you’ll have the chance to join with other aerospace students to design a complete aircraft. BEng (Hons) Automotive Engineering

The course focuses on vehicle design, taking into account performance, consumer demand, safety and sustainability. You’ll use all the latest industry tools and techniques, and take specialist classes in vehicle structures, engine performance, aerodynamics, materials and manufacturing strategies. This course is accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and is the first step towards chartered engineer status

MSc Medical Microbiology with Placement Year

The course will help you develop extensive theoretical and practical laboratory skills in by building on the research expertise of the teaching team.
