Who is it for? We have scholarships open to Faculty of Humanities & Social applicants from overseas joining postgraduate taught programmes in academic year 2024/5. All self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying offer-holders are encouraged to apply. You must hold an offer to a full-time postgraduate taught degree programme starting in academic year 2024/5 before your scholarship application will be considered.

How much is it worth? £4,000 - £5,000

How to apply? Those eligible will be notified and encouraged to apply as part of their offer of study.

Strathclyde Business School Full Time MBA Scholarships September 2024 (£9,000 and £17,000)

Who is it for? The Scholarships will be awarded to candidates who demonstrate in their Scholarship application, MBA programme application and interview, excellent academic performance; significant professional/managerial/leadership experience and career development and who will contribute to the overall academic, cultural and experiential profile of the programme cohort.

How much is it worth? Between £9,000 and £17,000 dependent on experience.

How to apply? You must have an offer to study an MBA in Glasgow with Strathclyde Business School before applying for a scholarship. Any incorrect or false application numbers entered will render the application ineligible for consideration

Who is it for? We offer a number of scholarships for our Faculty of Engineering applicants joining postgraduate taught and postgraduate research courses in academic year 2024/25.

All self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying offer holders with strong academic qualifications are encouraged to apply. Please note - you must hold an offer to a full-time postgraduate taught degree course starting in September 2024 or January 2025 before your scholarship application will be considered. If applying for postgraduate research course you must start during the 2024/25 academic year.

How much is it worth? If you're applying for a postgraduate taught degree course, you'll receive a scholarship award equivalent to a 15% reduction of your fees, which will typically be up to £4,240.*

Who is it for? Strathclyde Business School is delighted to offer 'Dean's Excellence Awards' for entry in 2024. We will award a number of scholarships to high-quality international applicants to our undergraduate degrees for entry in 2024/25.

This award is only available to international fee paying students who have applied to the a Strathclyde Business School Undergraduate degree and hold a conditional or unconditional offer to study (BA Business, BA International Business, Integrated Master International Business and Modern Languages).

How much is it worth? A number of 20% fee reduction per year awards are available, and the award will be deducted from your tuition fee in each year of undergraduate study with Strathclyde Business School.

Faculty of Engineering International Scholarships - Undergraduate 2024/25 (10%)

Who is it for? We offer a number of scholarships for our applicants joining our undergraduate courses in the Faculty of Engineering in September 2024.

All self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying offer holders with strong academic qualifications are encouraged to apply. Please note - you must hold an offer to a full-time undergraduate degree course starting in September 2024 in the Faculty of Engineering before your scholarship application will be considered.

How much is it worth? If you're applying for an undergraduate degree course, you'll receive a scholarship award equivalent to a 10% reduction of your fees for each year of study. Your first year’s scholarship will typically be £2,670.*

* The amount varies for selected courses with a different fee, including courses within Architecture & Biomedical Engineering.

Strathclyde Business School Full Time MBA Deans Excellence Awards September 2024 (50%)

Who is it for? Applicants must hold an offer of a place on the Full-time MBA September 2024 programme in order to be considered. Awards will only be made to candidates who have undergone a successful interview.

MBA Scholarship applications are invited from exceptional candidates who are prepared to act as ambassadors for the Strathclyde FT MBA. Who can demonstrate through their ideas outlined in their scholarship and programme application as well as their interview how they would contribute to bring the class together through teamwork to create community, from the outset, in order to achieve the ultimate learning (and social) experience for the group as a whole.

Leadership/management skills or potential, overall quality of the programme application and financial need will also be considered.

How much is it worth? The award covers 50% of the Full Time MBA tuition fee. Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis from mid January 2024 onwards and the final deadline for consideration will be 31st July 2024.

The Scholarships will be awarded on merit, rather than financial need, to candidates who demonstrate in both their Scholarship Application and their Masters programme application, excellent academic performance (current and/or previously gained); any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience and career development and who will contribute to the overall academic, cultural and experiential profile of the programme cohort.

How much is it worth? Candidates must be deemed International for Fee Status and Scholarship awards will be to the value of £9,000 to £12,000 dependent on subject area and course fee.

How to apply? Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis from mid January 2024 onwards and the final deadline for consideration of applications will be 31st July 2024. Please do not submit duplicate applications as all forms and statements submitted will remain under consideration.

Faculty of Science International Masters Scholarship for Physics (£6,000)

Who is it for? In order to be considered for a Faculty of Science International Masters Scholarship for Physics, candidates must:

- Be a new, international fee-paying student holding an offer of admission by 31 July 2024, for a full-time, taught masters degree in the Department of Physics for the 2024/2025 academic year.

- Be self-funded. Students who receive full scholarships, for example from a government office or embassy, will not be eligible.

How much is it worth? £6,000

How to apply? All postgraduate taught masters offer holders in the Department of Physics who meet the eligibility criteria will receive the scholarship. No separate scholarship application is necessary.

Awards will be allocated from 17 January 2024

Faculty of Science Masters Scholarship for International Students (£5,000- £7,000)

Who is it for? In order to be considered for a Faculty of Science International Masters Scholarship, candidates must:

- Be a new, international fee-paying student holding an offer of admission for a full-time, taught masters degree in the Faculty of Science for the 2024/2025 academic year.

- Be self-funded. Students who receive full scholarships, for example from a government office or embassy, will not be eligible.

How much is it worth? £5,000- £7,000

Humanities & Social Sciences: Dean's International Excellence Award - Undergraduate (£5,000 per year of study)

Who is it for? In order to be deemed eligible for a Dean's International Excellence Award, candidates must:

- Be available to commence academic studies in the UK by the start of the academic year in September/October 2024.

- Have paid their tuition fee deposit before 31st July 2024.

- Register as an international, fee-paying student.

- Have an offer of study for a full-time four year undergraduate Humanities and Social Sciences programme at the University of Strathclyde.

- This also includes year two entry to the two year Graduate Entry LLB Law programme.

- Be self-funded. Students who receive full scholarships, from a government office or embassy for example, will not be eligible.

How much is it worth? The award is a £5,000 scholarship per year for the duration of their degree (total of £20,000 for a four year course).
