International Office Scholarships (up to £2,000)

Who is it for? International Office Scholarships worth up to £2,000 are available for students who are self-funding their studies.

How much is it worth? 

  • Undergraduate (including top-ups): up to £1,500
  • Postgraduate: up to £2,000

How do I apply? You will be automatically be considered for one of these awards when we receive your application. 

Chancellors International Development Scholarships (£2,500)

Who is it for? International Development Scholarships of £2,500 are available for students from the following regions, for undergraduate and postgraduate courses:

Postgraduate Excellence Scholarship (£6,000)

Who is it for?

The Southeast Asian Postgraduate Excellence Scholarship offered by the University of South Wales is aimed at postgraduate applicants from Southeast Asia who demonstrate outstanding academic potential and personal achievements.

Even if applicants do not fully meet the GPA entry requirements, they may still be considered for the scholarship by showcasing their motivation and capabilities through a personal video, a strong Statement of Purpose (SOP), and supporting documents that highlight their individual achievements. Final decisions will be made by the University’s Scholarship Assessment Panel.

How much is it?

The scholarship is valued at £6,000, which will be deducted from the total tuition fees.

How to apply?

Apply for a postgraduate course at the University of South Wales. To be considered for the scholarship, submit a 30–90 second video explaining why you chose USW, along with your Statement of Purpose and relevant supporting documents.

Deadline: Friday, 2 May 2025.

Early CAS Scholarship (£500)

Who is it for?

International students applying for eligible postgraduate taught courses at the University of South Wales (excluding ACCA, MBA Global Advanced Entry, DBA, PhD, MPhil, Masters by Research, and pathway/pre-sessional courses).

How much is it?

  • £500 Early CAS Scholarship (in addition to any existing USW scholarship), applied each year of study.

  • £300 Early Payment Discount if tuition fee balance is paid within 14 days from the course start date.

How to apply?

Be CAS ready (i.e. fully complete CAS Shield and pay the deposit) by:

  • 31 May 2025 for the September 2025 intake

  • 31 October 2025 for the January/February 2026 intake

No separate application is required. Eligible students will automatically receive the additional scholarship.
